A play of 2 different clay bodies Terracotta & Stoneware, when mixed together for a single throw on the wheel; brings out a magical result when both merge with each other bringing out the best of their basic properties. Terracotta is a low fire body while Stoneware fires at a higher temperature. Firing this piece at High temperature makes the Stoneware attain its natural Off-white color whereas results in the Terracotta to burn out, making the body color change to a Chocolate brown. And the outcome is a breathtaking celestial combination almost impossible to believe.
